Idol
Have you ever thought what would it be like to be an idol? Well, i haven't. I know about losing freedom and privacy (that's what they say isn't it?) but i never really imagine the fear. Oh well, until last night that is.
- you'll be swarmed by throngs of fans. mostly those secondary school "kids" who worship you because you're good-looking. they scream your name, ask you to sign on photographs, posters or whatever and make you take pictures with them.
- some act chummy with you, acting as if they know you really well and throw in words of encouragement like, "hey so-and-so, you did well just now". come on, get a grip.
- there are those who come running after you. woa, that is scary.
- you can't say out loud where you are going (to your friends) i mean, i'm rather soft-spoken but i think even that will not do, you really gotta whisper. either that or your friends gotta lip-read.
- no matter what, you gotta smile and be polite and sweet. i mean, they are your fans and you need them!
